The 2015 JUNO nominations were announced today and some local talent is being recognized.

Roberta Hansen, a virtually unknown (until now) Winnipeg graphic designer has been nominated for the design of singer/songwriter Steve Bell’s four-disc album set, Pilgrimage.

Hansen is also known for her design work for popular local band The Bros. Landreth, who are nominated for the Roots and Traditional Album of the Year.

The nomination of Recording Package of the Year  is timely for Bell, who is celebrating 25 years of recording.

Pilgrimage is his 18th official album. Bell is thrilled with the nomination for Hansen, and hopes that this recognition generates a boost to her design career.
