Starting point to world peace is inner peace

Free Sahaja Yoga Meditation classes continue in Winnipeg for March 2017.

All are welcome to join in (drop in throughout the sessions at any point!) for a collective, guided meditation, learn the knowledge of the energy centres or chakras (a Sanskrit term) that take care of each and every one of us mentally, spiritually, emotionally and physically.

This is an ideal way to learn how to become a more balanced person, enjoy the health benefits, and gain the tools to cope with life’s pressures. There are no hard poses, and most attendees simply sit in a chair with their hands open, or on the floor if they prefer.

Most of all, participants benefit from the feeling of joy and peace. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, the founder of Sahaja Yoga, was twice nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, and offers her lectures and self-realization programs all over the world, always for free.

Sahaja Yoga is practiced in more than 100 countries. Sahaja means “spontaneous, born within” and Yoga means “union or connection.” Connect to your higher self, thereby becoming your best self.

Enlightenment occurs when the energy known as kundalini rises within the body like sap in a tree and nourishes all the energy centres within. Kundalini awakening, or the enlightenment can be felt as a cool breeze or cool river as it also enlightens and awakens sensations along the central nervous system.

Thanks to Sahaja Yoga, we don’t have to climb the Himalayas, just attend one or more of the meditation sessions. Each finger on the hands as well as many points in the body are mapped and can be decoded, as all the answers to becoming a more balanced person.

All other Yoga systems are trying to prepare the body for the kundalini energy to be awakened within. The difference between Sahaja Yoga and all other Yoga systems, is that you receive your enlightenment from the very beginning which is felt as a cool river or breeze, indicating the central nervous system has been activated.

As you meditate and grow deeper in the knowledge, you learn how to clear your chakras, simply and easily. With each class, we develop a deeper sense of our human potential when it is connected to the all pervading power of the universe. Our mind is limited, however, after self-realization, in a method known as “thoughtless awareness,” we become connected to the unlimited collective consciousness described by Dr. Carl Gustav Jung.

We learn how to clear our own chakras, based on the pure knowledge, and connect to Mother Earth. We also use the elements and nature to bring us back into balance. The starting point to world peace, is inner peace.

Paula Erskine is a flight attendant from Toronto who flies to Winnipeg for seasonal work. She is also a Sahaja Yoga Meditation Instructor, volunteering her time to spread this pure knowledge to those seeking the answers to life or to those looking for inner peace. Paula received her enlightenment at a Sahaja Yoga guided meditation class, much to her surprise, while she was on the path to better health and emotional balance. “Most surprisingly, I feel so much joy and peace during collective meditations.”
