The rich and poignant history of St.Vital
A group Grade 6 students from Niakwa Place School in the Louis Riel School Division created a video about the history of St. Vital, one of the oldest settled areas in Winnipeg.
Harriet Zaidman is a teacher-librarian at Niakwa Place School in Winnipeg. In 2013, she worked on an inquiry project with Grade 6 students, who researched the history of St. Vital, one of the oldest settled areas in Winnipeg and created a video from their investigation.
