“I’m happy we’re moving from singing and praying to action,” says Pat Mathews who has organized peace concerts for the past decade.
Items are donated all year and folks travel from near and far for the one day fundraiser which has earned a reputation as a destination event.

She has taught hundreds of people to sing, even those who thought they couldn’t. Now, her renamed choir will again sing for charity, and honour their founder who is in hospital fighting cancer.
