TicketMOMster Review: Miracle on 34th Street @ The Met
This review isn’t music related, but I just had the most wonderful date night with my Husband and I must tell you about it.
Tonight was “Dinner & Movie at The Met” featuring my favourite Christmas movie of all time, “Miracle on 34th Street” (the authentic black & white version).
The event started at 5 p.m., with plenty of time to enjoy a delicious buffet dinner. After dinner, Geoff Currier from 680 CJOB introduced the movie and the waiters came around and served us popcorn. There was a quick preview of future Dinner & Movie’s and then the show started.
Half way through the movie, there was a 15-minute intermission where they played the old-school intermission cartoons and the waiters served us dessert. Everything was over by 9 p.m.
Oh my Goodness, I’ve completely fallen in love with the vintage feel of The Met.
I’ve seen this movie dozens of times, but it was like we stepped back in time to 1947 and we were watching “Miracle on 34th Street” for the very first time. It was so lovely and I’m full of smiles and Christmas spirit.
Thank you The Met and thank you Husband for such a perfect night!
If you’re interested in stuffing your face with delicious food in an opulent theatre, I highly recommend The Met’s “Dinner & Movie”. It’s $40 per ticket and makes a terrific date night or even a group date night!

Swoon! LOVED IT!
Good night!
P.S. There’s one last showing of this movie TONIGHT (Dec 21st). Click here for more info: https://www.facebook.com/events/1281976981862907/
