“…I was born in the wrong damn body. Look at me. A gigolo trapped in a haystack. The tragedy of my life Norman Dewers – gigolo and assistant librarian.”
Table Manners by Alan Ayckbourn is the introductory play of The Norman Conquests, a unique comedy trilogy that made its way to Broadway and was televised on PBS in England.
Norman, the kept husband of Ruth, has planned an intimate weekend getaway with her sister Annie, but as the family arrives these plans go awry.
Norman’s scheming though cannot easily be discarded by the pesky and meddling in-laws, and so it goes.
Actors Judy Arnason, Kevin Del Rosario, Daniel Gilmour, Bill Moore, Taesia Scratch and Teela Tomassetti make up the cast of Broken Record Productions in the comedy Table Manners, directed by Barbara Best.
