Rock group Weezer played for a Winnipeg crowd for the first time ever when they performed at the MTS Centre Sunday night.
The group first came to prominence back in 1994 with their ‘Blue Album’ and have gone on to sell more than 17 million albums. The band’s success made for a highly anticipated first appearance in town.
Sunday’s show saw the band perform a career spanning set with rock and pop hits from more than two decades.
Dubbed the Meltdown show, Sunday’s show also saw The Trews and Flatliners perform.
