Imagine historic colonial life in America 400 years ago; the famous Virginia triangle, the days of slavery and plantations, the civil war battle sites.
Now, imagine re-living the days of the 1600’s and 1700’s by traveling to some of the most popular and authentic destinations on the continent, such as the plantation and estate of esteemed President Thomas Jefferson.
These are only some of the items we will enjoy on the Creative Retirement of Manitoba bus tour to the colonial / civil war / Washington, DC area in the autumn of 2013.
Enjoy the fall foliage as we traverse ten states, touring Monticello (Thomas Jefferson’s plantation), Williamsburg and the famous Virginia triangle (the first pilgrim settlement of 1607), Mount Vernon (home of George Washington), Gettysburg (famous civil war site) and Washington, DC for tours and visits to historical landmarks and buildings.
