The 10th Annual Wolseley’s Envision Festival of the Arts this weekend at R.A. Steen Community Centre is bigger and better than previous years.
How is it bigger? Because more artists will be featured and selling their art. Everything from painting, to photography, to sculpture and jewellery.
How is it better? Well, the amazing team of volunteers and organizers have 10 years of experience under their belts, improving different aspects of the festival every year.
The two day event will also include musical and dance performances by local musicians and dancers.
As well, the ‘Do you Know Your Wolseley’ Contest is back. Two years ago organizer Jim Palmquist asked me to go around Wolseley and take photos of objects, places and things in the Wolseley area. Eight photos were put onto a poster and whoever identifies the most scenes wins a framed print by yours truly. Contest closes May 24.
