The faculty strike at the University of Manitoba has reached its fourth day. Conciliation between the university and the faculty association continues, as both sides are optimistic a deal can be reached so classes are longer disrupted.
The University of Manitoba Faculty Association will be holding an information picket at the administration building today at noon.
If you’d like to join them for the march, the academic staff on strike and other supporters will be meeting at the picket line at Chancellor Matheson and Pembina at 11:30 a.m. From there they will head to the administration building across UMSU University Centre.
If the strike continues past today, it’ll mark the longest UMFA strike in the 21st century.
