An extraordinary father to his two adult children, and a committed life partner, Jeff Monk is also a devoted son, brother, colleague, neighbour, and friend, who intends to continue enriching the lives of those he meets, for many years.
The Pyramid, and friends of Jeff Monk, proudly present a fundraiser to aid in paying for Jeff’s natural cancer treatments.
The event features Mohair Sweets, The Windups, Rob Waddell, DJ the Invisible Man and special guests, on Fri. Dec. 8 at 9 p.m., Pyramid Cabaret, 176 Fort Street.
Monk has contributed to our community in many ways, for many years, notably as a music reviewer and writer for Uptown. He is grateful for the continued and thoughtful support.
“Jeff is a lifelong music fan who’s long been a supporter of the local scene – as a fan, radio host and an always insightful reviewer,” said John Kendle, Managing Editor, Canstar News.
“I’ve enjoyed his company and friendship and I have nothing but love and hope and respect for him and Sue and their journey. Let’s do what we can.”
Tickets $20 at the door, Into the Music, Music Trader and McNally Robinson Booksellers.
