Whether it be the empathy expressed for a beautiful baby girl with brain cancer, the emotional and financial stress caused by the loss of a family member, or just simply the celebration of a victory against illness, Dagmara Cielecka uses her artistic talent to help make the world a better place.
The visual artist who lives in England, has decided to give her time, energy and love into raising awareness through art.
“In life we are blessed with different talents and abilities,” says Cielecka. “God intends us to use those where we can and for me, I use my talent to make others smile.”
“This sweet little girl has cancer, but God will heal her,” says Cielecka. “No matter how hard her life is, don’t lose hope as hope helps us strive for something better.”
I discovered the work of Dagmara Cielecka on the internet, and it was through email that I first reached out to her.
My intent was to tell her about Posi, a new social media app that I recently co-developed in Winnipeg with my business partner.
Posi is a social network that aims to spread positive stories in order to help make the world a better place. It’s somewhat of a sanctuary that has attracted many talented people, including those who aspire to be givers of love, good vibes and strength.
Cielecka was thrilled to hear about Posi and she was excited to join in and to share the existence of this new app with all of her social media sources, for which I was extremely grateful.
“Everyone deserves a smile.,” says Cielecka. “Everyone deserves to know there are people who care. God has given me the talent to draw and I believe this is my purpose in life. I want to draw and make people smile.
“I was inspired to do this after drawing baby Alyna who sadly passed away from brain cancer. My aim is to give those children and their parents a smile on their faces by turning them into a piece of art. The money raised will go towards…buying gifts for the children to make them happy. No money is kept for me. Absolutely every…penny goes towards the families I draw,” says Cielecka.
It’s inspiring and heart warming to know that there are people like Dagmara Cielecka in this world who truly strive to make a difference. She spends 50+ hours a week drawing as she is trying to raise £1,000,000 for cancer research. She does not care how long it takes, as she plans to see this goal to the end.
The Posi Platform was built with people like Dagmara Cielecka in mind. The aim of this new social network tool is to help spread the word about those who are using their special talents for good. The hope is that many will become inspired by people like Dagmara Cielecka, who is now using Posi to display her art in an effort to bring more compassion to the world.
