Students, faculty, staff and visitors will now be able to use the new Parkmobile app to pay for parking at approximately 1,500 spaces in 14 lots throughout the University of Manitoba’s Fort Garry and Bannatyne campuses.
Customers can pay to park with their smartphones using Parkmobile’s app for iPhone, Android, and Windows phones or by calling the toll-free number on the green meter stickers and signs.
“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Parkmobile, providing our community members and visitors with a more convenient way to pay for parking,” says Cameron Neufeld, manager of parking services.
“Winnipeg’s climate presents challenges, especially in the winter. Providing customers with a way to pay from the comfort of their vehicle or inside a building is something we have long strived to do.”
