This week’s unemployment numbers in North America and across the globe reflect a world economy still recovering from the wounds inflicted by the worst downturn since the Great Depression.
Unemployment is one of the most important economic factors affecting millions of people in many, many countries.
In an effort to explain unemployment and the impact it has, three students from grades 11 and 12 at Fort Richmond Collegiate in Winnipeg’s Pembina Trails School Division, created an animated video. You can watch it by clicking on this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIsBujd-bqc
The students who produced this video are Denise Mugosa, Chalisa Polpanumas and Furyal Sadiq.
Their teacher is Sharon McRae, who teaches Business and Computer Technology at Fort Richmond Collegiate.
