What is one thing that would make our community better and why?
That is the question we are asking Winnipeggers at CNC’s new video booth – Express Yourself / Le Poèmaton – a collaborative project of Community News Commons and Alliance Française du Manitoba.
The booth records your answers which are then published on CNC.
Today’s response is from Qixia Wei, who believes the key to a better community is for citizens to work together which, in turn, will create better communication between all of us:
CNC’s Express Yourself video booth continues its journey across the province with its most recent move to Louis Riel Library, 1168 Dakota St., providing the opportunity for citizens to have their say.
Visitors to the video booth can also participate in Le Poèmaton , an initiative of Alliance Francaise du Manitoba, where the public can record a poem in French, or in any other language, also to be published on CNC.
Samples of French language poems are available at the booth. One can also bring in another poem, or recite an original composition.
So, if you want to wax poetically, or to weigh in on one thing that would make our community better, go to Louis Riel Library and Express Yourself.
Check out Community News Commons in the days ahead to view the videos and to find out where the booth is headed next.
