Winnipeggers were treated to a beautiful sunset on Wednesday evening, capping off a day when more than 20 temperature records were broken across southern Manitoba. In Portage La Prairie the mercury soared to above 20.
Winnipeg made it to 19 degrees, breaking a record set in 1923.
Today will be sunny and windy with a high of 12, while Remembrance Day will cool down to 5 degrees.
But the incredibly mild fall weather will continue throughout the weekend, as the Winnipeg forecast for Saturday and Sunday have temperatures rising back up to the low-teens.
