The recent terror attacks in Paris and the plan to bring thousands of refugees to North America reveal a number of myopic responses on the part of people in North America and the rest of the Western world.
To discuss these situations and the kinds of biases they lay bare, Andrew Vineberg of CKUW 95.9 FM‘s program People of Interest speaks to a panel of experts.
They include Shahina Siddiqui, founder and Executive Director of the Islamic Social Services Association of Canada; Damon Nasser Bath, activist and organizer originally from Egypt and now living in Winnipeg; and Robert Vineberg, an official in the Canadian Immigration system for over 30 years.
